Island Invaded
A World War II RPG
“I have been informed that the island of Rathlin, province of Great Britain, is considered a likely candidate for German invasion within the next two weeks…”
It is with these words that on a late night on May 24th, 1940, Senator Charles Torrington opens an emergency meeting called in response to recent events threatening to turn the world he and the other inhabitants of a small island in the middle of the English Channel know upside down. The British troops defending Rathlin have left abruptly. A mere seven miles away in occupied France, German troops are preparing to sail. Rathlin is abuzz with talk of invasion.
Evacuation is made possible for the remaining civilians, but only a few are able to leave. Undefended and seemingly abandoned by far-off England, Rathlin waits in dread for the inevitable. The Germans are coming, and they need the Channel Islands to complete their ultimate goal: the invasion of England.
Will Rathlin crumble and completely succumb to the might of the German Wehrmacht? Or, in the darkness of occupation, will it reveal a forbidden spark of resistance? You may decide the fate of the war itself by your choice.
